Located just eleven miles southeast of downtown Portland, this charming community is perched on a hill with scenic views of Mt. Hood in one direction and Portland’s downtown skyline in the other. Located atop of Mount Scott, an extinct volcano, the highest elevation point in Happy Valley is at 1,050 feet. Happy Valley is marked as one of the fastest growing cities in Oregon.

The city incorporated in 1965, and is one of the fastest growing cities in the state.
