The area includes historic architecture, and it is part of an official Historic District registry composed of 75 properties, antique streetscapes and iconic storefronts. The historic core of the downtown has been lovingly preserved and includes quaint shops, professional medical and business services, a library and restaurants.
Schools in West Linn consistently receive high marks from kindergarten through high school with the district receiving 9/10 in the Great Schools rankings.
